I dropped Chas off at his meeting on Wednesday morning and headed over to Yosemite. Gorgeous drive. It was super. Drove on HWY 140 right by the Merced river on my way in and just really enjoyed seeing the river flowing so beautifully through the canyon ( Read more... )

I'm leaving tomorrow for Yosemite. Just found that out about five minutes ago. My brother has a business meeting in Mariposa on Wednesday. Mariposa is about twenty five miles from Yosemite. So, when I play the piano and I'm singing along, I'll adlib a lot. Like, when I can't turn the page soon enough I'll usually hit the chord I think is coming next and rather than singing the lyrics I'll make up some rhyme about how I can't get the damned page to turn. So, I don't believe in horoscopes. But, lately mine have been so right on that it's pretty weird. It's to the point that when I get up in the morning and I'm worried about a particular aspect of my life I read my horoscope from tarot.com and all of the sudden it's the same as if I had spoken my concern to a good friend and they'd given me advice ( Read more... )
