1. Comment to this post & I will give you 5 things I associate you with.
2. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

a. shoujo

The only reading I've been doing lately is reading shoujo manga (and BL but. . . *cough*). They're probably the short version of those trashy romance novels, in the sense that I read the former for the same reason a lot of people read the latter.. I enjoy reading them because they're usually light and sweet, and if they're not, the conflicts usually resolve well. I don't need to think or be horribly vexed. (I have yet to start reading another shonen series. I'm too lazy to look for one that's finished.) My favorites, of course, are the more meaty ones, the ones with more interesting and complicated plots, the ones that explore the characters and not just rely on archetypes, and the really funny ones.

One of the series I'm follow in particular, and the only anime I'm watching, is Skip Beat. It bears all of three of the conditions I've said above. It's one of my reasons to keep living and trudging, week after week. Oh misery me.

b. amfota

What can I say about the amfota boys? They need to be strung up by their feet and flayed alive with Kurama's rose whip! #*#%&@$ They are the reason for our---and the heroine's!---misery. Some of them are super dense, like Suoh Tamaki (till of late, of course). Some of them are just plain mean like that, (Habaek! GRRRR! Kyouhei, till recently. Now he's rather scary. O__O). Some of them fell they have more important stuff to do and refuses to even go there for fear of conflict of interest. (I guess, we can use Heero Yuy as an example for now.) Some of them even believe they are acting for the greater good or some other morally upright belief. (What rubbish, Tsuruga Ren!)

Of course, some of them make appearances that are far in between---and don't even see the heroines. (Do I even have to say it? THAT Sasuke! Harumph.)

In the end, the amfota boys serve to increase our love and anticipation for the series (and the 'ship's canonization resolution only the sweer or more bitter, whichever the case). It doesn't help that in most cases, they are two-dimensional fantasy fodders due to their bishounen appearances and princely lines. Trying to hate them thus becomes commonplace for us beleaguered fangirls. (Succeeding is another thing, though.)

c. prose

It's hard for me to think of prose without contrasting it automatically with poetry. I've been told that my prose is very poetic by a number of people. Ironically, I can't write poetry. That's probably because I have this annoying habit of wallowing in the sound of my voice. (aka rambling.) That's not to say poetry doesn't interest me. Maybe looking into it might help me streamline my prose better.

d. karaoke

Karaoke may actually be my favorite pasttime, even toping reading and writing. (Oh wait, there's still eating and bumming and sleeping. . . ) My mom and dad said I always sang as a little girl, but I don't really remember that being the case growing up. I liked singing in secret, of course, and usually stopped when people come into the room. My re-discovery of karaoke is because of my dad's (and well the Filipino expatriates') love of singing in gatherings. That is one thing I definitely not do, singing in public that is. I do sing to relieve stress. Karaoke once a month should be a therapeutic dosage.

e. pairings x smut (both bl/crack/het

Smut in itself is wonderful. Smut involving one's yet-to-be-united pairings is nothing short of fantasizing. XD Very wonderful. Ohohoho. Because I am pathetic like that, I have a very narrow range for smut. (It's pathetic really.) I'll let you guess what het pairing I write smut for. *whistles innocently* Right now, I'm joyously drowning in 1XR and 2xH lemon fics, courtesy of the Church of Lemons. It's been a while since I read Gundam Wing.

Smut in crack is something I usually prefer slapstick. I've actually tried to write one. . . *cough*DogFish*cough* There are even actual pairings that are canon, but feek kinda crack when you think about them in a smut context. Chiaki Shinichi and Noda Megumi, for example. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around that one, but that's not to say I wouldn't read it.

BL smut. There are no words, only snickering. XD Gotta love 'em. *hides*
