and granpa shige also proved his too mature in his chubaw guesting.. giving umeboshi to neighbors and when he said his stomach can only tolerate light foods like brown rice and shabu shabu.. fried foods dame~ *poor grandpa*

Shige is like the dark horse of News. He is not very showy like the other members, but stuff like M.C. or Shoukon, his personality shines threw. When fans translates what he saids or writes, I find it fascinating. I am learning Japanese and hopefully I can get good enough to read Shige's book. I have heard it is really good. Out of the members, Shige is the most manly. He can hold a lizard and calls it cute as everyone in the room starts to run away.

One thing though... I think he was born in Osaka, not Hiroshima. On the Johnny's website it says Osaka....

But no, he was born in Hiroshima. He usually writes Osaka because his family moved soon after he was born and he grew up there.
