[The video suddenly turns on to Tsurugi cleaning a sword... which he puts down to start working on another sword. The camera suddenly zooms out to show an impressive collection of swords, which apparently have been all given this treatment. He looks haggard, as if he's been doing this for awhile... a long time]Not clean enough... not clean enough ( Read more... )

Can you think of something else that can keep your mind off a very bad memory? At least this way, I'm worried about the sheen of the sword than.... that.

That kinda thing's different from one guy to another. This ain't the only way you've tried, is it?

Yeah... they're annoying. I've suddenly started to get all my notifs again. sword_boy April 9 2010, 05:37:45 UTC
It's keeping my mind blank right now... that's the only reason I can continue. I would spar with someone, but I don't know anyone else that can keep up with my level of strength... outside of maybe Captain Hammer. Although he looks like he'd cry after the first punch landed on him.

Sparring's probably somethin' more attention-consumin' to focus on. And if you're in the mood for a side of schadenfreude with that, bet Hammer wouldn't say no.

I for some reason don't think so... I think I may have scared him once upon a time.

How'd you manage that?

I don't know... I might have mentioned that I wouldn't have a problem hurting him in a fight. I'm like that with anyone that I believe can match up... There's nothing wrong with that. Just means better competition.

Figured he was over-compensatin' for somethin' but I didn't think he'd recognize a threat if it beat the crap outta him, either.

Anyway, there're probably some people over at the dojo more willin' to spar properly. Or learn, if you don't mind teachin'. That's pretty distractin' too.

...The matter of their strength still comes in. I wouldn't want to keep my strength in check while I'm doing this. I don't want to hurt someone who can't handle it while I'm trying to find stability again.
