All of my life I've wished for some sort of super powers. I've always sort of leaned towards wanting Clark Kent's powers from Smallville. I don't want the full blown Superman powers, I could easily function without flying and some of the other little things he can do. Too many variables. How do you stop time over the entire universe? Besides, if you stop time the laws of physics would fall apart and stuff like gravity wouldn't work.

btw, way to take my heartfelt post that I literally made while in tears and turn it into a sci-fi discussion :P

Aww c'mon, don't you remember Flashman from Megaman II or Guldo from the Ginyu Force on DBZ? And all the gravity and physics and stuff doesn't need to be explained.. it's part of the power. Think about it, you could freeze time at some bar, remove some hot stuck up chick's clothes, then unfreeze! Ha ha! She'll think they just disappeared!

I would hate to cause a galactic implosion just for the sake of removing a girl's clothes.

It's too complicated. Maybe a bubble where all matter stops moving would work, but to even slow stuff down on a molecular level (let alone stop it) would take a lot of mass.
