Writer's Block: A Bitter Pill to Swallow?

...and therein lies the problem with America today -- the desire for everything to be quick, easy, and handed to us without having to work for it.

I sometimes take pills to cut back the pain to enable me to exercise, but that is all that it should be.

What is the point of exercise? To be alive. As a biological entity, we were either created or evolved to be industrious. Our history shows us that if we pursue this natural aptitude and psychological/biological requirement, that we prosper. When we turn our backs on it, the Visigoths and Vandals are looting the treasures of Rome herself ( ... )

* Nature dictates otherwise.

* There are no get rich quick solutions or replacements for the real McCoy, most definitely not exercise. It will bite you in the ass.

* Hard work breeds integrity and satifaction. People do not appreciate what they did not have to sweat to achieve. It is inherent to human pyschology and sociology. America suffers because we are riding on the achievements of hardworking and self-sacrificing generations before us. Time for us to do with less, tighten our belts, and put our noses to the grindstone.

* Your fingers would be permanently stained orange, not to mention the gastronimical affect that over-indulgence of processed foods have to induce diverticular disease.

* The brain would atrophy.

* It would be a waste of the potential to actually live and produce good things of ones self.

* There is rarely anything good on TV anyhow. They killed off Firefly and Farscape.
