[Maybe it was a being on a ship thing, Tidus mused, while he leaned over the railing of the S.S. Winno to watch the ocean waves. He knew Roze would be visiting soon. It would be nice to get the chance to talk to someone in person who wouldn't look at him like he was crazy. In some ways, he thought the people on the community knew him better than

[Baking the cake had been the easy part and she had made it just as she'd promised. Baking might seem like a simple thing but she enjoyed it. It was familiar, peaceful.

Finding time to get the world hop had been an entirely different matter but it'd happen and now she was here, having already thanked the woman nice enough to give the hop. But now she had to get to Tidus and it wasn't like she'd ever been on a ship before...or near an ocean.

So, when she did see him, she'd call his name. Coming toward him would be a young woman who barely looked twenty, standing 5'4 and slender. Pink bangs frame her face, violet eyes smiling...and a bit uncertain, though she tried to hide it.]

[As soon as his name was called, Tidus whirled around. He had a good idea who it was. Not just everyone knew his name here, after all.

And damn. Roze was hot. Not that he was going to blurt that out or intentionally make her uncomfortable, but the truth was the truth. He smiled cheerfully and waved, jogging to her. Suddenly he felt less alone.]

[Boats moved quiet a lot. She wanted to hold onto the railing but both hands were needed for the cake. Besides, soon Tidus was there and it was much easier to focus on something else. The cake was held out, a smile on her face.]

Happy Birthday! [It was late as it was and she didn't want to wait any longer for Tidus to have it.]

[Grinning brightly, Tidus laughed and moved to take the cake from Roze so that she didn't have to carry it any more.]
