So I realize I've updated everywhere but here. It seems instant posting (FB and Twitter) is winning out over longer blog posts for me, at least given the pace things have been going lately. Convenience over content -- it's a trend that bothers me, and I'll see if I can't combat it (in my corner of the 'verse, at least) after the Month-O-Chaos ends ( Read more... )

I'm really sorry I couldn't be there! Hopefully, it will be similar at Uncle Hugo's which I do plan to attend. I know Sean got some good pictures. I've been trying to coax him into putting a couple up at the Wyrdsmiths blog.

It was awesome to see you do your reading and the Q&A time. Btw people last night at the meeting thought that the Buy My Book t-shirt that I have was full of awesome too.

Cool! I'm glad you had fun, because it was lots of fun from the audience point of view.

I had to run before I got a chance to get it signed, but I'm assuming that's something that can be remedied at some point. :-)

One of my coworkers was able to make it - apparently the books ran out just one or two people in line ahead of her! - but she really enjoyed the reading. She sent me a cell-phone pic during the reading, since I couldn't make it myself. :-)

(I've already called Uncle Hugo's to let them know how many copies I intend to purchase on the 16th.)
