I'm not enjoying French class nearly as much as I used to. In fact, I think I'm starting to dislike it. We stopped actually learning things near the beginning of the year, and now it's just reading miscellaneous things like poems and short stories and such. Yeah, I always hate that point in a language class--because you stop learning things because you've LEARNT all the grammar and you've LEARNT all the exceptions and what have you, and so just applying it is all that's left to be done--except that you can do that just as well, and probably more enjoyably, on your own.

Maybe if you feel so meh about projects you should talk to your Madame about it, or write her an email in French explaining that you're sorry and don't understand where the lack of motivation is coming from. I'm sure that, if she is a good person (as she seems), it will be comprehensible to her.

Senior year is a drag. You sound like you're faring well enough, all things considered. Better than the bangup job I managed. Good luck. :\ *l'embrasse*

Sounds like my fourth year or German, and my second year of French.

At least Frau Heim knew when to give up. ~_~;
