Francine might want to listen to the announcement instead of using that time to practice the speech she thought she was about to rattle off to Gabrielle's voicemail but due to random Fandom weirdness -- by which we mean Francine hitting a 6 instead of a 3 and a 1 instead of a 4 -- she...wasn't.
But she didn't, and so when Dolf arrived in Fandom and actually got his phone set up, the first message he'd find would be an American girl's voice with a slight southern accent saying, "Hi, it's Francine! I wanted to talk to you before I left, but we're taking off today and I'm not sure if you're here yet. I was hoping you could take over my spot in the Support reserves; they could really use the help with all the grads leaving, and I know you're good at that kind of thing. Check in with Raven, Karla and Tara about it if you can!" {Moment of silence.} "And thanks! I owe you one. Or cookies. Lots of cookies, not just one."

Meant for Kennedy, delivered in Tara's best, "I-will-not-laugh-while-I'm-being-sultry" voice:
"Hey, baby. So, uh, we ... didn't really make plans for the weekend. I was thinking I might cook. You, me, candlelight, and I'll figure out something to keep everybody out of the common room. Are you in?"
She managed not to giggle until just before she hung up the phone.
"Hey! I've totally been meaning to call you. I don't really do that anymore, but I mean, if you want to pretend to pay for it, I understand. Some guys really get off on that. Let's plan something soon. You can even wear the bunny ears again."
"I don't remember any conversation in which we discussed anyone blowing anyone else. And, to be honest, I've never thought of doing anything in your bed."
"I'm up on the roof," Karla replied, sounding more exhausted than anything else. "Wanted to spend sometime outside, but couldn't handle the luau today. Meet me up there?"

"D-Dolf? It's Karla. I have some...bad news. Is there somewhere we can meet up today?"

Finally, he returned the message. "I'm home now?" he volunteered, his voice full of worry. "Or I could come by your room."
