Ok.....I'm going to say this once and only once.....

Anyone who would vote for John Kerry to be our nation's next president is a damned fool.

That is all....say what you want....and say what you will....but it's the honest-to-God truth.......

Bush/Cheney '04 baby.......

To say that anyone who would vote for John Kerry as our nation's next president is a damned fool is completely rude and ignorant of you, how could you possibly be a judge of all those people who are going to do just that? You may have your opinions but it is no reason to insult others. I expected more from you. How can you possibly call yourself open-minded when you are outwardly insulting people who you don't even know? I really wish you would think about what you say before you say it and realize that you might be insulting people. You are just asking for a lot of hateful comments, I hope you realize that.

I'm not picking sides here, but how could you vote for a guy who voted against the research and design project for individual body armor for our soldiers? Who also voted against our stealth projects, the F-16 project, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (which is the most used vehicle for our mechanized infantry units), the patriot missle project (Our Anti-Ballistic missle system), and numerous other weapons we use to fight, and win wars today? If John Kerry had his way back then, we'd be fighting wars with out-dated weapons. Sure he served in Vietnam, got a few medals for serving, but also notice that he protested that war, slandered his fellow soldiers, and threw those medals on the ground at a protest rally. That is a poor attitude for a soldier of that era to have.

I've seen, and served in the military with greater men, who have taken their responsibility and gone to fight in a war we all believed was necessary. That is all I have to say...

Val, sweetie, you should know that I don't have to say or do anything for hateful comments to be launched toward me, much less, GOD FORBID, I say ANYthing regarding politics. I am a very open-minded person, and I have kept quiet and listened to both sides of the political spectrum this entire time, before forming my own opinion which is independent of others'. You should also know that I don't speak my mind without considering future repercussions because I know what I say can and will always be held against me. Quite frankly, I am not worried about what anyone has to say in negative responses to my stand on the matter because it's not open for debate to me. I love you, appreciate your concern, and am sorry if I offended you, but I'm not sorry for saying what I said.
