vday craziness
so on top of my happy vday surprises in the previous entry, at school today they had this chocolate fountain. it was fabulous! they had strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pretzels and a bunch of other stuff to dip in the chocolate. i skewed a whole bunch of fruit kabob-style and dipped in. it was soo good. and it was free! yay for vday.
i was lonesome on vday since my other half is hundreds of miles away, so a few of us long-distancers decided to hang out.. so after debating if i should go out or not i finally drove to chinatown and we ate some hand drawn noodle.. but this time i got shaved noodles.. which isnt as good as hand drawn. in my opinion anyway. we just went there because we didn't want to deal with the packed vday restaurants. then we drove around and bagged on people walking around holding hands and girls with flowers to south street area and went to this italian restaurant the butcher's place or something like that in search of tiramisu.. this restaurant was nice. perfect for vday. too bad none of us were on a vday date. anyway we asked if they had tiramisu and the hostess said yes. but when we ordered they didn't. so i ended up getting some creme brulee. yay for yummy french desserts. then we hung out for like forever because the waiter never gave us our check. not to mention the people brought out some of the wrong desserts. and then the waiter gave me some white roses. basically because i was a girl. and they were probably gonna throw the flowers out and he probably wanted a tip. but anyways, yay. so then we walked back to the car. and some genius parked the car in some snow. so it took forever to work our way out of the snow and some shady guy came to help us and he put some cardboard under. and everyone got out and pushed and cleared out snow.. except me cuz i'm down like that. anyway. it was hilarious. and at this time i was gonna knock out. like i am now.. anyway. that was my lame kinda vday celebration since im coupleless. i hate celebrating stupid holidays anyway.
