just info. i'm not applying until december for the fall 2005. i'm taking my pre-reqs at the community college and am already enrolled.

oh, and i have all the info in a packet and online. and an application. so it's not too big a deal really, just makes me feel crappy. there will be more info sessions, as well as an open house in the fall. i just hope they don't keep my name on file as someone who didn't show up... heh.

If you're worried, just give the school a call and tell them you were ill. No biggie. But I can see where you would feel discouraged, even though you shouldn't be. :-)

you pointed out a lot of the negatives but look at it from this perspective. You enrolled in your courses *yay you* you are actually trying to go to school for many hours a week and work possibly up to full time as well *yay you* that's huge. You are also willing to do a major commute to make sure you get the courses you need *yay you* and you are willing to do another major commute so that you can make money at the same time *yay you*. Jobs are hard to get especially since you are trying to get something in your field (that determiniation should be another *yay you*) You faxed out some and since you didn't get any good responses you are faxing out more *yay you*. I donno seems to me you just need to look at this from another perspective.
*hugs* take care of yourself your working hard and you aren't giving up that's what matters most.

oookay. anyway. i sometimes create responses in my head and think about them, then forget that i actually did NOT respond to something. this includes emails, voicemails, LJ comments, LJ posts.

that said, thank you so much for your comment, so much. i did need the optimistic perspective in this. (i still need to fax resumes, which is why i haven't slept last night, so i can fax today, heh). yeah, the commuting isn't my *favorite* option, but, i'm willing to do it. of course, i'm still scared of failure, but at least i'm trying.

don't forget I"m just as terrified of failing as you are. I worry a lot that I won't be able to be a successfully person in life because of how much I get sick and how sometimes it makes me just want to give up. One of the things I know is the rest of will push you down and tell you you'll fail or you aren't worth it enough so for the love of god don't help them! You are great. You are trying hard. You have goals and plans. You are going to achieve them. Just remember you've got to be your own cheering squad.
