If it's hypo (underactive) - it would be thyroid replacement hormones to bring my hormone levels back up.
At least, that's what I think. That's how it's normally treated, but I have a thyoid autoimmune disorder (Hashimoto's) so the treatment might be a tad different. I just hope this doc treats it so it doesn't progress.
I went to Johns Hopkins and the Endocrinologist there told me "your thyoid will almost definitely fail within 10 years, if not, then definitely 20" and that there's nothing to do about it until my blood levels are off (which they may be now, have to check).
HA! I'm not going to sit by and watch my body destroy my own organ when there IS something I can do about it, whether my blood levels (thyroid hormones) are actually off or not!!!!

Did you know my neck is straight and arthritic? I was really shocked when my new doc ordered the x-rays and showed them to me.

Eek, I'm sorry about your neck, does it hurt? That is probably adding to the migraines. I've heard that Botox for migraines is also injected in the neck to relax those muscles. Maybe that will help. When are you going for the Botox? (Didn't you post in the migraines community that your insurance approved the Botox?)

I get the Botox done on Mon. I think. That's my next appt. with the doctor who will be doing it, any way. I'm nervous!
