Tired, But Pleased

Sooo...I went shopping today!  Refund checks came in, and I went to Tupelo!  It was a very long and tiring day filled with fun (and frustration).

First, we stopped at Toys 'R Us and I got my nephew's Easter present.  A little early, but I had to get my baby his toy when I saw it.  It was just too cute!  It's a big train set with animals.  Next, we stopped at Shoe Carnival, and I found the perfect shoe, only to find that they did not have it in my size.  They had a 9 and an 8, but not a friggin 8.5!  Six shoe stores later and the results were still the same.  So, sadly, I'm stuck with my old worn out tennis shoes that I bought almost two years ago.  =(

Lunch was next, and Malibu's has the best sweet-n-sour chicken ever, and I don't even like chicken!  We walked the whole mall after that, and I bought clothes from Belk, PacSun, GAP, JcPenny's, Victoria's Secret, New York & Co. and some other places that I can't remember.  I splurged at Bath and Body Works, and also on the $50 bra at Victoria's Secret.  D=  I think it was worth it though.  That bra is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn!  I think I'm going to get more.

I also stopped by Cracker Barrel and bought a big box of 1970's candy....even though a lot of it is candy that I eat now.  Lol  I didn't know all that stuff was that old.  Also, I got a big box of Peanut Brittle.  I loooove that stuff.

I found the two cutest onesies and sun glasses at the Children's Place for my nephew as well, and they were on sale!  I got them all for $14.

My best splurge of the day, however, was at Red Lobster.  I spent $40 and got a huge lobster tail and sooo much shrimp.  I had too bring most of it home because I filled up on fried calamari, clam strips, and mozzarella sticks.  And three glasses of tea.  O.O

So, I think I spent about $500, but it was money well spent.  I've needed new clothes very badly, and I always need to buy things for my nephew.  XD
