Sleep, Where Are You?

Mar 05, 2009 12:00

I am so tired of not being able to sleep, so I decided to take an Ambien last night, which, according to my friend, would knock me out for about seven to eight hours.  LIES!  ALL LIES!

Well, I took the Ambien at 11:40 last night right before I got into bed, and I didn't notice anything until about twenty minutes later when I rolled onto my side and opened my eyes.  What did I happen to see, you ask?  There were freaking little people on my desk!  I kid you not, I saw tiny short people on my desk and they were moving my computer, and I told them that they needed to stop because I needed my laptop, but they wouldn't stop...and someone was on my roommate's bed, a man I think, and I told him that he needed to get off because he didn't belong there and my roomie would be made at him.  He flipped me off.  D=

And then two girls dressed in black were kneeling next to my desk, and they wouldn't stop looking at me.  It freaked me out a bit, but when I told them to stop, they wouldn't.  I remember crying at some point because it freaked me out so much, especially when one of the girls and another one (bringing the total up to three) crawled under my bed and wouldn't come out.  Then the little person on my desk kept coming closer to me, and something was in my robe too and kept reaching for me with these skinny little hands that looked like twigs from a tree and that scared the crap out of me too.  I was talking for the whole hour I think that I hallucinated (it was 1:00 by the time I looked at my clock) and I head my suitemates up a couple of times, but I don't know if they heard me or not.  I was talking pretty loud and yelling and crying, so they probably did.  I'm kind of embarrassed to ask though...

I finally got so scared that I hid under my covers and wouldn't come out.  Then I remember texting my best friend.  I didn't remember what I texted until I read them a little while ago.  One said that someone wouldn't stop whispering to me and it was distracting.  Yes, I do remember someone whispering to me.  It was a lady and she said my name and something else, but I can't remember what it was now.

The next thing I know, it's 5:30 and I'm wide awake.  The next time I woke up was 8:30 and then when my alarm went off at nine.  Damnit, I was really hoping that these would work...

So, I do have two more Ambien, but I'm kind of scared to take them.  Maybe this time was just a fluke though...
