Society will draw a circle that shuts me out, but my superior thoughts will draw me in. I was born to win if I do not spend too much time trying to fail. I will ignore the tags and names given to me by society, since, only I know what I have the ability to become.

it's awfully inspiring, isn't it?

we read it aloud as a class and it was almost overwhelming how much it made me feel.

that's how you know it's a good one.

I love that overwhelming feeling. I get all tingling and my eyes water. I used to get that way in band class when the music was dramatic and I get that way at shows when everyone is singing some inspiring lyric. That happened at Aesop Rocks show. On the last two songs. Oh! and at the Weakerthans show.

why did the prof make you read it aloud? or was it for just that reason, to overwhelmingly inspire everyone?

well it's a classroom management class and we were talking about contracts and rules for classrooms. and a teacher in his school (he used to be a principal) had her seniors read it aloud a few times a week to focus them on their studies and why they were there.

i don't know if it touched other people the way it did me but i kind of want to make copies and leave them around campus. or something.
