Oh, but you forgot about the bureaucratic costs of -arranging- those jobs, getting the employee set up, misc fees, random federal costs, bribe money, random acquisitions of extremely expensive desks, etc....

...anyway, I owe you a piece of writing re: ashes and merlot. Been working on it lately.
