I think there's a line--just like there's a line with most things. There's a reactionary swing, and taking it too far. You can be too touchy feely, and you can be too stoic. But abusive alcoholics who don't have emotional intimacy even with their loved ones and solve all their problems with violence aren't exactly top specimens of manhood either.
