All of that is only 16 hours, which is on the light side for engineering students. I might drop botany, depending on how hard I feel my other classes are.

I'm taking 16 hours of credit. At UNCA that's considered a slightly above-average load.

Along related lines, I have three classes this fall. Three. One on MWF from 11 to 12:10, one on MWF from 1:20 to 2:10, and one on Tuesday/Thursday from 1:40 to 3:00.

The best part is, one of them is physical ed!

It really is an average workload. Maybe a little more. Don't look too much into the number of classes, a few of those are only 1 hour classes. I think I took 17 my first semester, and like 18 my second. I got tired of that so I'm taking 14 this semester :-)
