Good luck, my friend. I know I took a month off the booze a while back too. Still haven't had much since New Year's either. It's a healthy decision. Sorry about the rough night, but sometimes we need them.

whoo! barf-induced booze-aphobia. I get that, it's a good deterrent, embrace it!

I don't mean to be an asshole, but if you're in the kind of emotional state where you "cried a lot... kept saying I wish I was dead...", what the fuck were you doing drinking that much? Have some more respect for yourself, man.

You know you've got limits; I think swearing off booze is like swearing off women or swearing off anything; when it comes back, it comes back with a vengeance, and in the meanwhile you think about it more and more. Just moderate yourself. Have one drink, two drinks. Nurse a single bottle. Never forget that once you got so hammered you threw up on a homeless person and didn't even remember it.

The weird part is, before drinking, I felt fine. Like, completely fine. At worst, I was a little tired from working four 10-hour shifts in a row.

And I never intended to completely go cold turkey with booze. I didn't drink for a good year or so after the Zombie incident, and had been very good about moderation up until last night. I have no idea why I drank as much as I did.

Trust me, I'm not about to forget anything I've learned from last night. For now, I'll drink as little as possible but moderate heavily when I do decide to drink again.

Does a man good to cut loose a bit every once in a while. Problem is, sometimes said cutting loose brings you to places you may not WANT to go, but, buy the ticket, take the ride.

And yeah, Zach is right, moderation really is key.

Also, did you find danger? Was it everywhere?

I found $20 in my shirt pocket.

And trust me, I know moderation is key.

Well, $20 is better than danger (or the Setite Light).
