At the indie movie theatre down the street, they have been having a Pedro Almodovar film fest. I was disappointed that I missed "women on the verge" but I saw "all about my mother" and "talk to her". I was walking through the park today and the "Medecins sans frontieres" (doctors without borders) group was there. They had set up a refugee camp and were giving tours, explaining how they worked, how people got food, shelter, water, medicine. It was really interesting and also really depressing.
