Just randomly came across your LJ and thought I'd throw my two cents in and say hello... I heard somewhere (think I read it in Us Weekly) that Dr. Phil's wife makes those "appearances" on his show because next year she will have her own talk show and this is a way to "prep" the viewing audience and get them ready for seeing her on a regular basis. You know the whole "familiarity" notion that because people are familiar with her they will be more likely to watch her show... LOL, I have no idea why I'm even responding to this, I guess its cause it is 6am and I cant shut my brain off enough to go to bed.
