i pretty much nailed all my 2013 resolutions. pow pow pow! and reuben had his three surgeries and has avoided dialysis. i made mummy friends. i learned to sew. nick has seven months left of foundation training. we're saddling up to the ol' hitching post and then spending six months in the u.s. huzzah huzzah! marrying the specimen of my incessant ( Read more... )

um, august i think, post-wedding?? we have a crazy busy near future. will hopefully be heading to london soon-ish, to sort out rooster's dual citizenship. will let you know!

When you start the sewing blog, be sure to link me up-- I've realised that I can't put off learning basic sewing skills any longer.

Also, when we were in the Philippines, Becka told me you were learning Italian. I'm starting Italian next week! Foreign language pen pals?

yes i was going strong with the italian there for about two weeks. i had told bonnie i would learn it with her (it's the most-helpfully-spoken other language in innsbruck, besides english), so the motivation was not personal. ka-put i'm afraid!

it's an exaggerated "tulip" shape silhouette so it suggests radical female curves (that which i have always been decidedly lacking, graciously bestowed, thank you clever pattern-cutting!)
