Been a while since I've looked into Livejournal, am surprised and pleased to see you posting here. Are you and Nick married now? Are you living in Spokane or somewhere in the Pacific NW? Just curious.
I'm about to start writing in LJ again, at least I tell myself that I will write in LJ again. I posted a couple of private things some time ago and may continue to primarily post private but am not interested in the cacophony and over reaching FB forum to express myself so may post some stuff for friends on LJ as well.
I read enough to know that you are still dealing with Reuben's kidney issues. He is two or three now? That has been a very hard road for you and Nick but it sounds like there is hope for resolution, or at least a 20 year reprieve, soon. My thoughts are with you.
Good luck on sewing blog. I have a good friend, actually a couple of good friends, who are seriously into knitting. The fiber arts are fun, creative and useful.
