The last few days have been very hectic, but nice. "Santa" sent me a walmart gift card and it was used with GREAT appreciation. Whoever sent it is a Godsend. Well when I was little my family had these little traditions. Nothing really on Christmas Eve or anything, we just couldn't wake my parents up til 7 and we always had to wait at the top of the stairs til mom took "before" pictures of the living room and the tree. It was before we trashed the place. And then mom would set up the video camera on the tripod and tape us opening our presents. We would all be in our pajamas still and we would run downstairs and head straight for our stocking (laying on the couch) filled with candy and little gifts, then mom would sit beside the tree and handout all the presents. I guess it's just the little things that kids will remember doing. We always set a plate out for "Santa" with milk and cookies.. even though I knew it was my dad who ate them :P

I wish we had traditions as a kid. That sounds great. Danny says the dad hands out the presents. I'm excited. This is my first real christmas in my mind. We decided Santa wants chocolate milk this year.

Aww lol Yeah I think this is the first year that it doesn't feel like Christmas for me :/ I guess cause I won't be at home for Christmas.

Mmm.. I love me some chocolate milk. Especially the Promised Land chocolate milk. You should try it. It's the best :P

I hear you. I'm home for Christmas, but its all destroyed. All of my family, My Mom, sister, brother, have moved away. None of them are close by.Jim, our I don't know how to explain it to you, Mom's ex-boyfriend aka Dakota's Papa, is spending Christmas with his family in Kansas. It's just me and my youngest sister here now. Its sad. It's gonna be so sad, but at the same time, I have my own family now. Sometimes it sucks being grown up.
