Challenge 23: Top 10

Nov 30, 2011 01:16

This is what I used my afternoon for.

I just finished it and I'm so tired you wouldn't even believe, I need some time to relax. My God, I never thought it would take me so much time. And I feel so bad because I should be working on some other things, real life things but I spent hours with this, at least I think it turned out pretty good, ( Read more... )

YES, so many good episodic characters, I actually left out some that I really liked but I couldn't take them all and wouldn't have had the time either...

I'm glad you liked it :D

First off, this is just gorgeous! Second, what a nice idea, to pay tribute to the guest stars. One of the things I admire so much about Fringe (and subsequently, one of the things that pisses me off about other shows, when they don't do this) is that they actually care about ALL of their characters, and they make the viewer both understand and usually sympathize with the supporting characters. Most baddies on a show are just 1-dimensional bad guys with no redeeming features. And like them or not, virtually every side character on Fringe is given history, a back story and a reason for their behaviour. I respect that so very much, and it's lovely to see you dedicating a picspam to them.

Also, your character choices are fantastic! Great job, and thank you for sharing ♥

Wow, thank you so much for the lovely comment, I'm glad you liekd it!

I too love that about this show, I love how we get to know about their stories and it's not just all 'here, this is the bad guy, hate him'. Actually, my sister and I had a discussion about Eugene, I mean, I cried when he died and she said that as sad as his story makes her, how could I cry for a killer when I didn't do the same for the people he killed. And I don't know, it probably has to do with the fact that they told Eugene's story and my GOd, was it sad... I mean, he never even got a proper name, he's whole life treated as an experiment and not as a kid or even a person... It's heartbreaking.
