ive always tried to use foreshortening, and sometimes it works, and sometimes, it uh, well, is scarey ^^;;;;;;

i can't add anything more to say about it but, wow!
her feet DO look great!
even though you think the scans look horrid, there is a certain roughness they add to the pic. if only you could make the lines look more pencil like i think that they would look fantastic just like that. love the yellow tint to them! splash some colour on them and they would be very piros like imo!
