LJ Idol -Week 0 Post - Introduction

I'm a 35 (for another month) mother of 2 girls, ages 6 and 3. My husband, darkwolf69, was a contestant last season after I pointed him to the community. I was still reluctant to officially sign up myself, but decided to play the "home game". I didn't do many of the topics though, so I figured if I signed it up this time and had a real deadline like

The original reason I joined last season was for the deadlines and the prompts, since I wasn't really writing much as all. I hope you find it as fun as I did.

Thanks! If it weren't for the last minute, I'd never get anything done, so hopefully the deadlines will give me more incentive to do the writing than just doing the "home game". ;)

Hi, and well met! Wow, lots of poly people on here. (I'm not one of them - well, hopefully one day - just an observation).

I'm a member of the Unity church, and so often confused with Unitarian Universalists. I read some about UU out of curiosity. I don't really know all that much, but I'll be interested in learning more. They seem like they're similar in spirit.
