I'm one of those people who likes to buy a new notebook (and sometimes a new pen) when starting a new project. This means, of course, that I have a number of partially used notebooks and more pens than will fit in your average pen cup (or three). Like many, I'm also drawn to having "neat" start dates, such as January 1st, on the 1st of the month

I wonder if the new notebook/pen comes from when you started school? Always a new notebook/bencil box etc. Smile. Nice entry!

Quite possibly! I really like office supplies in general, so really, any excuse to go buy new office supplies. ;)

Great entry. I totally agree. I have never understood why it seems to be human nature to put goals off to start working on them at a later date.

Speaking as a natural procrastinator, I can understand it from that perspective, but yeah, it doesn't really make much sense. Thanks for commenting. :)

I totally agree that it's best to go ahead and start with your idea rather than waiting for a certain day. Usually if I wait, I'll find some way to think myself out of it. Go you in accomplishing your goals!

Yeah, I do the same thing. Or, I'll keep thinking "Ok, I'll start *next* Monday", or whatever. Now if only I could find this kind of motivation to accomplish more of my goals!

I like new notebooks for things too. I really liked this and I agree, the things I've stuck to the best are the things I decide to do randomly.
