101 Goals in 1001 Days

Jan 15, 2009 09:05

So, I've decided to officially scrap my 101 List... oddly, it turns out it's exactly 1 year from when I started it.  I'm going to make new goals, but not a 101 list.  I just can't see far enough ahead right now to do 10001 days.

Leaving my old list here.  Will set a new Goal list to the top of my LJ.

So, I saw this 101 Things in 1001 Days concept floating around LJ, and decided to give it a whirl myself.  Go here to learn more about it, and start your own!  Basically, it's a set of tasks you want to get done in 1001 days.  I like the concept, because it gives you a realistic amount of time to make changes in your life.  Unlike a New Year's resolution, where you quit once you fail, with this, if you don't succeed the first time, you've got plenty of time to try again!

Now, I love making lists, but I stink at sticking with them.  So, this list is going to sit at the top of my LJ, and if you notice me not updating (see #2 on the list), feel free to nag!

This still needs a bit of work, but I want my ending date to be October 12, 2010 (b/c Oct. 12 is Jane's B-Day), so it's starting today (January 15, 2008)

Italicized items are in progress
