In the past two or three years I've been saying that I've noticed a PRECIPITOUS drop in the aggregate driving ability of a big portion of people around here. I don't know what the situation is elsewhere, but whatever drugs are going around must have gotten really cheap around 2002. There was always the speeder or the no-turn-signal guy, but now it's no turn signal across three and four lanes, 20mph over the limit as the norm, four cars passing all around you in a race (I witnessed one of these about 6 months ago - I was the pylon in the middle and missed the resultant collision by about 25 yards). Driving was always dangerous but FUCK.
