Renovation: (n) a painful, expensive, drawn out process wherein a person hands out gobs of money and wait patiently for contractors to show up whenever they please, do a minimum amount of work, and then disappear for long stretches of time leaving the homeowners with a barely functional house with nary a word to said homeowner. I definitely got the theme about the delays and arrival times. My mom and her hubby (who live in FL) told us it's a "southern thing". If that's true, I'm glad we're in the north. LOL I'd go berserk. Waiting isn't my best trait.
It does look like it's finally shaping up. Good luck!!!

It isn't mine either. I'm trying to be zen about this, but honestly? I'm going mental. All the banging on the walls means I've gotten a maximum of 15 minutes a day on the internet -- usually at their lunch break. (I have a wall in common with the kitchen and my computer's on that wall.)
And then there's the dishes. I'm washing them on the back porch in a plastic tub OMFG! It's one step up from being caveman-ish! I want my dish washer back!|P
The noise is also a factor. Power tools are loud. And we haven't seen the worst of it; next week, there's going to be jackhammering the concrete to run electrical for the island in the kitchen.
