Please stop breaking your effing site. Every single time you go down for "maintenance", you break something that takes hours if not days to fix.

I *PAY* for my space here. I expect it to work.

Well I don't pay so I always feel I don't have as much juice to complain. But I totally agree it is a mess when they go down. I am still getting comment notifications from 2 weeks ago and one of my commenters never gets a notification. Last night was tragic because LJ was off and Twitter broke because so many people were tweeting about Steve Jobs. Sad night in cyberland.

I've just been so disgusted with them that I'm not even sure if I'm going to renew when the time comes.

I'm not really surprised that Twitter crashed when news of Steve Jobs' death hit. It was weird though to have to learn about it via TV news rather than the internet though!

can I just say that even when, twice, they were under attack, through no fault of their own per se, LJ extended our subscriptions in compensation. I know its annoying that it was running so...very...slow yesterday, that 3 hours turned into several more, but I'd rather they maintained their site than not.

At least spellchecker is back when posting, which makes me happy :D
