Lol. OMG your poor cousin. That is funny but so horrible.

My favorite holiday film is White Christmas. Love Danny Kaye and the wonderful last scene and the beautiful song white christmas.

I am so far from being done this year. I am not done shopping. I haven't sent any cards or wrapped a present and this year I am not doing any baking. I got my schedule for next week and I work every day but Christmas eve. I think this is a gift bag year. ;p

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Hugs
Lyn

I love the song White Christmas, but only when Bing Crosby sings it. The newer 'artists' like to put their own spin on classics by singing five hundred notes to every actual note in the melody. Just can't stand that. :P

Working on Christmas Eve totally blows. :(

Your work schedule sounds crazy busy! And full. :P Hopefully once the holiday's over things will settle down for you.

My sister's baking enough for you, her, and a professional bakery -- gingersnaps, peanut butter cookies, lemon shortbread, cinnamon rolls, carrot cake, spiced nuts, and fruitcake. She's still got a list of 12 more things she wants to bake.

I was like O_O when I heard that.

If that wasn't bad enough, my aunt sent over a pound of lemons (which means my sister's going to be baking again!), 15 pounds of kumquats (some of which are going to be used in a kumquat pound cake) along with a from-scratch pumpkin cheesecake ( ... )

Great story about the gift certificates. :) I am doing the bookstore equivalent of a GC and buying everyone a calendar from the store. Lol.

Did he get even one kid or baby who was a perfect Christmas angel? If so, then all the blue nuts and puke was worth it (say I, far away from the Santa chair).

There were a few totally good kids. Those were few and far between though. Those kids got a big candy cane that he was supposed to 'randomly' distribute.

When, at the end of the day, he still had about forty canes left he told his boss that Santa wouldn't give out candy canes to kids on the naughty list would he? XD

My cousin's a trip.

No, he wouldn't. Totally support your cousin in his Santa role and reasoning.

My favourites are "It's a Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Carol", and it has to be the Alastair Sim one for sure!

Your poor cousin, I feel guilty, (not really) for laughing my head off at his tale of woe!

I like "It's a Wonderful Life", too, but it's not a must watch.

Feel free to laugh away. It's why I posted it. ;D
