Decided to try Maggie Moo on a full 5k walk/jog. I was 2 miles in when she decided that she was tired so I had to pick her up and carry her for the last mile and some change. Let me tell you, carrying an 11lb dog while walking when you're not used to it will raise your heart rate to the same zone as jogging AND you get a great arm workout. XD ( Read more... )

Lol. Weight lifting. When I had my Keeshond Kasha I would take her for a walk. She didn't like it and if she got tired she would just walk up to any old house and sit on the steps. :) Try carrying a 50 pound dog home.

For a time I lived about 3.5 miles from my Mom's house. My sister would try to call her and if the line was busy for more than an hour she'd call me to tell me to go to Mom's house and tell her the phone was off the hook so she could call her. A few times when my car wasn't working I'd walk and take my dog Max with me. Usually he'd get tired and he'd do the walking up to any house and sit on the steps to be let in too. I'd carry him to Mom's and then we'd get a lift home - after the phone got put back on the hook.

My Dad's awful about hanging up the phone, too. Often, it's a matter of following the angry beeping throughout the house to find the ONE phone that's off the hook.

He's also bad about leaving his cell on so it'll almost always be dead. LOL.
