I've written fanfiction since I was sixteen (I think....), so for five years. I started writing Buffy and Spike fanfiction. I wrote two father/son stories for Lord of the Rings (Estel[Aragorn]/Elrond), one hinted at slash for Smallville.
I've written original stuff too, but mostly the stuff I have online is poetry. (I have stories in my school journals and stuff.) But I've told and made up stories since I was little. (I just suck at grammar and I have a tracking disorder with my eyes).
*offers a smile* Mostly I like to hint at relationships. I like writing with romantic friendships and pre-slash because I lack experience with relationships. But I try to watch and learn. Did I answer your question? *smiles sheepishly*

I'm a little surprised that House is able to open up to Wilson as easily as he does. I think the dialog might flow more naturally if you use more contractions. Given that abuse survivors have an extremely hard time talking about it to friends and family, the diary is an excellent way to have it be discovered.

More contractions? Give me an example. When I talk to the therapist I ramble and talk in short, avoiding statements, so any help you could give me would be great. Yes, abuse survivors do have a hard time talking to family and friends. The idea of rejection or disbelief of their experience makes them unwilling to talk about it. (Sorry psychologist mode.) I think I might have House yell what he did and then take it back at the park or talk solely about Jake. Anyhow, thank you for your thoughts about the diary. I thought it was appropriate.
Again thank you for any help you can give and thank you for commenting. :<)

I do have a small note, however: "Pedophiled" isn't a word. "A victim of paederasty", perhaps?
