I totally don't feel that London deserved these bombings in any way at all -- but the same argument can be made, England and the U.S. and just about every country on the face of this Earth "deserved all it got" but the civilians didn't. The unfortunate thing about the war in Iraq, and any war, really, but this one seems to do it in particular -- is that it continues the cycle of hate and violence. New terrorists are being formed because they saw their village destroyed and their loved ones killed and all they can think about is revenge -- and when something like this happens, the same immediate gut reaction we have is revenge. It's a constant cycle.
I'm at a point where Im almost tempted to go into the peace cor. that way I can go over and just be helpful to the innocent civilians who didnt do shit to deserve what they got.

Hmm mayhaps I'll join you... I hate terrorism more than anything else, because they always go after the innocents, and then after an attak when the millitary goes after the nation responsible, more innocent civilians are slaughtered and the terrorist group goes on to do more violence....
A year ago, when they announced that NYC was in the running for the 2012 Olympics, I said that I hoped we wouldn't get them because that would invite more terrorism into my hometown.
