We went to see Philomena last night at our new favorite theatre: Bow Tie Theatre! Instead of calling them "bathrooms" they put "washrooms" in big red letters on the wall. Learning the "applying to the government" game has been extremely interesting and also pretty stressful. This is the second night I've rolled around in bed wishing that sleep would come and knock me out. Flarfineugens!

I know I want to be successful. I just wish I didn't feel eager and apprehensive all at the same time.

Just had the weirdest phone "conversation" with a representative of an organization I'd like to volunteer with. We were supposed to talk at 6:30, but they said they'd forgotten their earpiece and were driving home, so they'd call around 8. My sis likes to keep her condo at a brisk 66 degrees. It's not the worst, but it's not the relatively cozy 72 that we keep the townhouse at.
