So in Last Remnant, occasionally when you defeat monsters you capture them whole. You then have the choice to take the captured monster home and sell it for cash and the opportunity at trade goods, or split it for parts (which are used to make/upgrade equipment). The best part about this is the item description on the captured monsters, which reads ( Read more... )

I have always been suspicious of bratwurst.

Now I know why.

Really it's the Pest meatloaf that is continuously most upsetting. The Pests are sort of... person-sized cockroach things with too many legs. But I suppose you could grind them up into meatloaf, so...

idk man, that one actually made sense to me in a skewed way.

Possibly because I had to wiki what meatloaf was as my first thought was the singer, who apparently is a human cockroach.

XD It certainly makes more sense than the some of the others, which just leave you cocking your head and going "...how...?"

And, well, I eat meatloaf more often than I do bratwurst, so that could have something to to do with it too.

It's a theme, you see. You also have Wild Raptor tiramisu and Bullfighter (which is the same type of monster) gelato.

I am really not sure I want to know.

I would not want to eat anything that was once called 'Vile'. This inludes Vile Plant and Vile Lizard.

But Vile Lizard is tasty with scrambled eggs! Have you not felt the aching lack of chunks of giant evil lizard with your scrambled eggs?

Yeah, same here for a long time. Fortunately we have something like four playthroughs of the game going on between the three of us in the house, and I started compiling it finally. XD

...I do not even remember what enemy that is, actually

...Wow, really? That one was -- the hardest part for me was that I felt awful about going through with it when [spoilers]. It only took me about three turns. ^^;;

p-possibly I had been leveling too much?

I know they can hit you with some nasty spells if they get going, though (similar class monsters will be random enemies later), so maybe I got lucky, too....

....what is an anthrovore and what is it doing in my delicious honey pastry

An anthrovore is a sort of plant monster! The same class as Vile Plant. I am at work right now so I cannot search for a satisfactory picture, but imagine like, a swamp thing, with draping foliage and stubby arms it can hit you with.

...as for the second part of the question, clearly baklava is best with bits of plant monster in it. I am sure if you tried it you would agree.
