So in Last Remnant, occasionally when you defeat monsters you capture them whole. You then have the choice to take the captured monster home and sell it for cash and the opportunity at trade goods, or split it for parts (which are used to make/upgrade equipment). The best part about this is the item description on the captured monsters, which reads

Really it's the Pest meatloaf that is continuously most upsetting. The Pests are sort of... person-sized cockroach things with too many legs. But I suppose you could grind them up into meatloaf, so...

XD It certainly makes more sense than the some of the others, which just leave you cocking your head and going "...how...?"

And, well, I eat meatloaf more often than I do bratwurst, so that could have something to to do with it too.

I would not want to eat anything that was once called 'Vile'. This inludes Vile Plant and Vile Lizard.

Yeah, same here for a long time. Fortunately we have something like four playthroughs of the game going on between the three of us in the house, and I started compiling it finally. XD

I know they can hit you with some nasty spells if they get going, though (similar class monsters will be random enemies later), so maybe I got lucky, too....

An anthrovore is a sort of plant monster! The same class as Vile Plant. I am at work right now so I cannot search for a satisfactory picture, but imagine like, a swamp thing, with draping foliage and stubby arms it can hit you with.

...as for the second part of the question, clearly baklava is best with bits of plant monster in it. I am sure if you tried it you would agree.
