i'm sorry for your loss, but at least you got to see and talk to her before it happened, right? all my family deaths have been awkward with sickness and dementia. and just recently, anthony's best friend hung himself from a tree in his backyard. not a good way to feel closure or say goodbye. thoughts are with you.
