I know how to shop for a girlfriend. I know how to shop for a mom. But how do you shop for a punk rock girl roommate who likes to dress up pretty every great once in a while? She is predominately a tom boy. I don't want to send a woo-woo message but I want to get her something nice. Gift certificate time to macys?

Can't go wrong with an Amazon gift certificate, or one for Zappos.com (shoes, shoes and more shoes). The best present I've recieved in the last few years was a Leatherman.

Try a gift certificate to someplace she'd actually go... or maybe a non-thoughtless present like a movie she'd love or tickets to a show or a new belt...

Well I buy my girls weapon. That or handcuffs. Brenda and Kelly are easy to shop for ;)
