When I got to Hawaii, the first thing that Jess and I did once we got my luggage, was go to Zippy's. She talked me into french fries and a supremely wonderful slice of chocolate cake. Oh god, I wasn't sure if I hated or loved her at that moment, but good grief. Hah ( Read more... )

PS. I haven't been able to really drive the damn car, and I ended up putting $28 into it to fill up the tank with gas over here. Ugh.

I MISS HAWAII!!! :)
I went to Paradise Cove for the luau, it was a lot of fun!! You should definitely go, that's if you haven't gone yet. :) :) North Shore!! That's my favorite beach, a lot of cute guys! :-P

I don't know about John / Richard, but Richard sounds like a fun guy to be with while you're in Hawaii so enjoy your vacation! :)

Yeah, Richard is awesome. He might be in the Navy, and there's a lot of down talk about military people, but I don't care what anyone says... he's still a nice chap in my book - and there's not a lot of people in it these days. I went swimming with sea turtles with him today. It was amazing.

We just planned to go to Paradise Cove, and made reservations for Wednesday evening. Yay. Should be a blast. =) And yes indeed. North Shore is a great area with some beautiful beaches. Did you go to Waimea and jump off the rock? =)

ah yeah, when I was in Hawaii, I met some army guys, at first i wasn't sure about hanging out with them but then after hanging out with them, i realized they were fun to hang out with. they took me and my friends to north shore, army base, bars, etc etc. my advice: have fun!!! it sounds like your friend, the one your staying with, is always busy so yeah, don't stay inside while youre in hawaii!! :)

i was only in oahu for like 5 nights, didn't get to do as much as i would have liked to.. didn't get to go to Waimea and some other places - that's why im planning a trip to hawaii with friends for 3 weeks or so :) Let me know how you like Paradise Cove ::: don't use white flipflops, lol - i wore my white flipflops and by the end of the night, my flipflops were dirtttyyyyyyyyy! lol

My friend Jess isn't always busy. She just had to work on some days while I was here. I went to Paradise Cove last night finally, and it was so so. I'm not to sure if it was necessarily worth it, but what made up for everything was the really cool dance show at the end of the night. I was in a rotten mood when we had just arrived, and that didn't help the situation of me being able to enjoy the first half of the time we were there. Blah. I certainly hope that you do get the chance to come back to Oahu for a longer visit. There's just so much to see and do around here, and it's all worth experiencing in one way or another ( ... )
