I don't understand why the people in charge of promotion a tv series do that, seriously! For instance, I still remember some of the terrible promotional pictures from BSG season three, what they did to Mary McDonnel in one of her headshots, among other terrible ones, was unforgivable! *shudders*

What is ddeokbokki made of?

And yay to enjoying Speed Racer! Rain had much better on-screen time than most of us thought, right? :D And I hear that his current washboard abs are being shaped by the same people who employed for the movie 300 (and we all know how unbelievably fabuluous the abs in 300 are, hah!) ^^

What is ddeokbokki made of?
It's made of cylindrical rice cakes (ddeokbokki ddeok), fish cakes (odeng), gochujang sauce (that red chili sauce Koreans use a lot in their cusine), a tiny little bit of gotchugaru (chili powder), cabbagem onion, spring onion, garlic (LOL I never thought there would be a country whow could love garlic more than Spain; LOL I was so wrong! Koreans love garlic indeed!!!), and brown sugar.

This is pretty much the recipe I follow to make ddeokbokki

YAY!!! .... and again, yay for his brand new abs, more fabulous than ever!!! *hee*

OMG ddeokbokki! I've been craving it since I got home from Korea. There was a 떡볶이 store on my street back in Seoul - apparently it was famous among Koreans for making the best around (and it was reeeeeeaaly good - my friend J and I were in there every other day). I'll never make it as well myself, but I might give your recipe a try :D

I'm so lucky to have a Korean food shop too blocks from where I leave! They sell all kinds of imported Korean ingredients so that I can try new recipes! My next project is making chapche, I bought dangmyun a few days ago!

Boo, the site says the trailer is unavailable now. I shall have to be patient. Pic looks... strangely similar to the ones I've seen for BSG, Reaper and such. Wonder if it's a new trend in tv ads.

BTW, I forgot you were in Madrid and I totes could use some info - have you heard about the St Louis University of Madrid? The good, the bad, the ugly? I want to transfer there in the fall but I know next to nothing about the place... having never actually been to Madrid.

Ah, Romania, why must you have such a wonderful reputation?

Thanks for the quick reply back. I'm finding the prospect a little daunting, but it would be a first step in getting closer to the States, which is my eventual goal. I guess I need to see the city for myself, I'm sure though, that it's not that different from Paris or London so that shouldn't be worrying. Am not a huge nightlife person, but public transportation is love. Only subways or busses/trams too? I'm a little claustrophobic and I don't like being underground. Especially the sound of subways in motion makes me go crazy.

The public transportation network is the best thing ever, believe me when I say it because I have no car and I totally rely on public transportation! :) I used to use a combination of subway+bus or subway+train to get to my uni campus and I was able to get there super fast! Just some lines are the ones overcrowded, mind you not like the Tokyo subway LOL, you can actually get in the bust/train and breathe *lol* Unfortunately one of the worst is line 6, which is the one with stops near the campus of the Uni you mentioned, but also there are stops of line 7, which is never overcrowded! :)
