I think that there is a Watch Word that points to the problems you are discussing: Integration. We all have an animal side, case in point, there is the "mammalian brain" and even a "reptile brain" with the human cerebral cortex

That's not quite what I'm talking about. I mean, yeah, you can say that in comparison to other people, one person might be more like a specific animal than other people, but that doesn't mean there isn't a general behavior or nature of humans
