Wow - that was so moving. I know that putting this kind of thing down on paper can be regarded as morbid, but believe me, when I lost my father, I had wished that he had done this instead of having us all second guessing. Doing this, being specific about what you want and what happens when is just one more thing to let those who are left behind know how much you love them. The way that Reid has expressed himself in what he's written is beautiful, caring, tender, thoughtful and still has a touch of his humor - perfect!
Thank you so much for sharing that. I know it's a tough subject, but also an important subject. And ATWT touched on it briefly, but evidently my muses wanted to address it again:-)))
Hard to discuss but So So important. Not only should it be written out giving the loved one peace of mind, it should also be made legally binding or crazy Uncle Angus is in charge regardless of what is on the piece of paper.
I SO agree! I think we all have an Uncle Angus somewhere... someone we don't want to make that kind of choices. And writing down what you DO want is a great way to let your voice be heard:-)

I do so know this phenomenon from a lot of people!
The love you give to Reid and Luke AND to us, it's creating little wings to take us all over some daily obstacles!

If anyone could, I would bet on Reid. Plus, wouldn't Annie be able to show him how? :)
