I'm 1st to comment!!! What an honor!!!!! Brilliant as always. What a great twist to adopt another child esp a girl !!! I always imagine Reid especially twisted around his little girl's finger. She would be oh so spoiled!! I LOVE this twist. My favorite stories are those with LuRe as daddies!!! Can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

Defense mechanisms aren't all bad. They keep you alive. So you'll be able to love.
Sometimes you need to take a step backwards. Just one, for a better overview, so you can take a step forwards in the right direction. I'm with Reid. Quelle surprise ;)

I don't agree completely, to be honest. To me love is about trust and respect and imo a defense mechanism would block that. Maybe not totally, but partly for sure.

I do agree on this one. I think it's very important to try to get some better overview. But on the other hand... when do you know 'what's the right direction'? We don't control the future... anything can happen, even if we're convinced we took the right direction.

Thanks! I always felt this conversation was snowed under by Luke's love confession and at that time Luke really had a good point (imo)
