I need to try this. It boasts High calcium and a high yummy factor. Though, I think fresh tomatoes and basil would be better. Less salt at least ( Read more... )

....I'm not sure about the linguine bed. (Maybe find some sort of whole wheat tortelini instead.) And it needs more garlic. But other than that.

Yeah, I tend to not use the long pastas in general and I always up the garlic. :)

I'd totally go for this with chickpeas instead of navy beans. If you're gonna use fresh tomatoes, maybe dropping in a bit of white wine to cook off, and replace the canned juices?

And, while I agree that tortellini would be nom-tastic here, it would kill my weight watchers points dead dead dead. *sigh*

actually the canned tomatoes are prepared differently to regular tomatoes and you wouldn't get the same quantity of juice from fresh. this might be something good for me to cook for mom. she needs to gain lots of weight for her treatments
