My birthday was unmemorable, topped off by a bad dinner, so we had a redo the next day. My best gift was a plastic garden heron. Now all I need is a pond so it will have something to guard.

I'm glad to know my birthday flower is a hermaphrodite that attracts wildlife. I wouldn't have it any other way. :-)
