In Plain Sight
Finally got around to watching the In Plain Sight season finale. Not pleased, not pleased AT ALL. Minor spoilers under the cut.
I hate the character of Faber. Why in the hell would Mary go to Mexico with him? She should've gone with Marshall, who is totally in love with her.That last scene between the two of them - he was totally talking about himself. Why in the hell can't she see it? I don't know if I'm going to watch the next season, if they continue to pull crap like this. I didn't enjoy this season as much as last and I think it's because they fired the showrunner. They got rid of Derschowitz. Raph is gone. Jinx is barely there. It's not the same show anymore.
I was really disappointed in the finale - it didn't even feel like a finale until the last scene. Even then, it wasn't that big of a cliffhanger. Last year, they left it off with Mary being shot and in the hospital. This year? She's in a hotel room with Faber. Blah. His character is pointless. I will admit I have a bit of a bias because I want Mary and Marshall together, but still. If they were going to have Mary be with someone else, keep her with Raph. I actually liked him, even if I thought he was better with Brandy.
